First trailer for 'Song to Song' reveals Terrence Malick's sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll story with an all-star ensemble

            One of my most anticipated films of the year is Terrence Malick’s latest, Song to Song. Yesterday, the first trailer was released for the dramatic music-based film from the director of The Tree of Life.

            The film will be set against the backdrop of the music scene in Austin, Texas and has one of the best ensembles in the history of movies. Not only that but Malick directing and the phenomenal Emmanuel Lubezki doing the camera work it sure looks on paper to have the makings of a high-quality film. Luckily, the trailer helps the cause. This movie looks amazing. The plot and camera work absorb you into this world that Malick has developed and I can’t wait to see the finished product.

            Check out the first trailer for Song to Song below! The movie stars Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara, Michael Fassbender, Haley Bennett, Natalie Portman, Val Kilmer, Benicio Del Toro, Clifton Collins Jr. and Holly Hunter. Song to Song opens on March 17^th.
