Demi Moore Joins the Cast of Taylor Sheridan's 'Land Man' led by Billy Bob Thornton

Demi Moore (Ghost) is the latest to join the upcoming Paramount+ series, Land Man from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan. Moore is set to play the role of Cami, the wife of one of the most powerful oil men in all of Texas, as well as a friend to the lead character of Tommy Norris, played by series lead Billy Bob Thornton. The series takes place in proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, specifically in the world of oil rigs. Land Man is based on the 11-part podcast, Boomtown, described as a story of roughnecks and risky billionaires who aim to fuel the boom so much that it reshapes climate, economy and geopolitics. It feels like it's within the same vein as something such as Yellowstone, and Land Man has been a project long in development by Sheridan and Paramount.
Chris McCarthy, President and CEO of Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios, describes the tale as one of "epic" proportions. Moore and Thornton will lead a cast that also includes Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Mark Collie and Paulina Chavez. The series is currently filming in Fort Worth, TX.
Moore currently is starring in the second season of FX series, Feud, subtitled Capote vs. the Swans as socialite Ann Woodward, a former showgirl and radio actress who notoriously was accused of murdering her husband by Truman Capote in 1955. Moore will next appear in The Substance opposite Margaret Qualley and Dennis Quaid.
