The Witch, the Anya Taylor-Joy led horror film ended up on a ton of best of lists for 2016 when it comes to film. That haunting movie was directed by Robert Eggers and now the duo will reunite for his latest movie. They’ll remain in the horror genre too as Variety reports that Eggers will direct Taylor-Joy in his remake of Nosferatu.

Eggers’ movie will be the third version after the 1922 original and Werner Herzog’s 1979 movie starring Klaus Kinski. With this movie taking place in the 17th century, just as The Witch did, it should be a perfect project for the actor/director combo. Though I haven’t seen their first collaboration together, I believe the hype and think this could be an even better movie than their last.

Anya Taylor-Joy is one of the hottest young actresses working today and has two high-profile movies to shoot before she returns to working with Eggers. One of them being the sequel to M. Night Shyamalan’s Split which she starred in titled, Glass. She’ll also embark on her first foray with comic books as she’ll play Magik in X-Men: The New Mutants due out in 2018.
