Each week there’s a hot new show being released on the tons of outlets we have for television. Though Netflix continues to impress, Amazon is giving them a run for their money. Their upcoming series, Homecoming looks to be one of their bigger undertakings with a terrific ensemble cast along for the ride and you can see the latest trailer below.

The show, based on the podcast of the same name is created by Eli Horowitz and Micah Bloomberg, who also co-wrote Homecoming with Sam Esmail follows Julia Roberts as a caseworker named Heidi Bergman, working in a rehab facility trying to help returning soldiers dealing with PTSD adjust to the real world again.

Esmail is best known for creating Mr. Robot for USA Network and this show looks to fill that same creepy, sinister void that we never knew we needed until he got behind the camera. His usage of strange camerawork and ominous music shows us that there’s something deeper going on in this rehabilitation center. As a huge fan of his other fare, I’m intrigued on how this show will turn out.

Roberts leads a remarkable cast that also includes Bobby Cannavale, Stephan James, Shea Whigham, Dermot Mulroney, Sissy Spacek, Alex Karpovsky and Jeremy Allen White. Homecoming hits Amazon on November 2nd. Check out the new trailer below!
