Hulu plans Robert F. Kennedy miniseries starring Chris Pine

Just
a couple of months ago, we reported on a Robert F. Kennedy film starring Matt
Damon, now the streaming service, Hulu is planning on a TV series based on the
politician for themselves. According to Deadline,
Chris Pine will star as RFK in the untitled series from Todd E. Kessler (Bloodline, Damages).
The
limited series is based on Larry Tye’s book, Bobby Kennedy: The Making of a Liberal Icon, and will be the second
show under Hulu to center around a Kennedy. The first being, the adaptation of
the Stephen King novel, 11.22.63 that
centered around JFK’s assassination. This is also the second television project
Pine is attached to in recent months as he’s set to star in another miniseries,
One Day She’ll Darken which will be
directed by Patty Jenkins.
Pine
is rapidly approaching superstar actor status after coming off of a massive
box-office win with Wonder Woman.
Besides these starring television roles, Pine has Ava DuVernay’s A Wrinkle in Time due out in March. He’s
also in production on Outlaw King, which
will reunite him with Hell or High Water
director, David Mackenzie and pre-production on All the Old Knives
alongside Michelle Williams.
