Ridley Scott already released a film earlier this year with his sci-fi/horror sequel, Alien: Covenant. Now, he’s gunning for awards with his second movie of 2017, All the Money in the World and we have the trailer for you below!

All the Money in the World follows the true life story of the kidnapping of John Paul Getty III, the grandson of the mega-wealthy J. Paul Getty. While the kidnappers hold the ransom at $17 million, Getty refuses to pay it which leads to a desperate attempt by the boy’s mother to convince her father-in-law to pay up. This movie was fastracked to hit theaters for the end of the year but it looks great. The trailer makes great use of “Time of the Season” as well and I love how they kept Getty mostly hidden until the very end of the trailer. I’m very excited to see this film and am also looking forward to the FX miniseries based on the same story titled Trust which stars Donald Sutherland, Hilary Swank and Brendan Fraser and is helmed by Danny Boyle.

Check out the trailer below for All the Money in the World. The movie stars Michelle Williams, Mark Wahlberg, Charlie Plummer and Kevin Spacey as J. Paul Getty. All the Money in the World opens in theaters everywhere on December 8th.
