Four years after the release of last film, we finally get a true glimpse of the next piece of cinema dropped by one of the finest American directors of all-time, Martin Scorsese. That's right, Apple and Marty dropped the first teaser trailer for the long-gestating epic Killers of the Flower Moon, which you can check out below.

Killers of the Flower Moon is a 3-hour and 26-minute drama that tells the story of 20th century Oklahoma and the fortune that came with oil during that time for the Osage Nation. Many of the townspeople became some of the wealthiest in the United States overnight, while their riches brought unfortunate attraction to the white interlopers who extorted the natives before they turned to murder. The film is based on a true story but is told through the romance between Ernest Burkhart (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Mollie Kyle (Lily Gladstone), where real love mixes with unfathomable betrayal in this Western crime saga.

Apple Original Films bought the film years ago to which Scorsese directs and co-wrote with Eric Roth (Dune, Forrest Gump). Additionally, the movie also stars Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, John Lithgow, Tantoo Cardinal and recent Oscar-winner Brendan Fraser. Killers of the Flower Moon will play in select theaters on October 6 before expanding and streaming globally on AppleTV+ on October 20.
