The trio of young writers on SNL known as Please Don't Destroy have written their first feature film and it's headed to streaming.

According to an exclusive by Jeff Sneider and Above the Line, Ben Marshall, John Higgins and Martin Herlihy's currently untitled film is headed to Peacock with a release date of November 17, as NBCUniversal has pivoted from a theatrical release. The hilarious modern comedians wrote the film early last year and shot last summer set to go up against DC's Blue Beetle at the box-office, however, after careful consideration, the comedy flick will move to Peacock.

The still-untitled buddy comedy is directed by SNL alumnus Paul Briganti and follows three childhood friends who all work and live together but are curious on if they have any real future. They decide to head to the mountains to seek out rumored buried treasure before embarking on a rambunctious adventure. The trio of young comic upstarts will lead the case alongside Conan O'Brien, Meg Stalter, Cedric Yarbrough, Sunita Mani and Bowen Yang.

In many people's eyes, SNL's biggest draw right now is Please Don't Destroy so it makes sense to give them their own film and strike while the iron is hot. Not only that but teaming with legendary comedy producer Judd Apatow is a great combination destined for success as well.
