Sweet Christmas: Extended trailer for Marvel's Netflix series 'Luke Cage' is here

            Marvel has done a tremendous job with their Netflix series in the past. Whether it was the introduction to Hell’s Kitchen with Daredevil, the introduction of The Punisher in Season 2 or the binge-drinking private investigator in Jessica Jones, which actually introduced one of the most well-known superheroes Luke Cage. Today, Netflix has released their first trailer for the series based on the crimefighter.

            Cage was a solid supporting character within Jessica Jones but in case you didn’t watch the show, he is a character with super strength and impenetrable skin, this trailer showcases his powers. We also get a look at the villain in the trailer, Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes played by Mahershala Ali; he looks absolutely menacing as the bad guy for the city of Harlem. Luke Cage is clearly a street level hero as we see him connecting with people in the community.

            Luke Cage stars Mike Colter, Mahershala Ali, Alfre Woodard, Simone Missick, Theo Rossi and Rosario Dawson. It premieres on Netflix on September 30^th. Check out the trailer below!
