Michael B. Jordan will return to the big screen in March reprising his role as Adonis Creed, the boxer son of Rocky franchise character, Apollo Creed but in the meantime, he's setting up other sequels for himself, this time, reprising his role as John Clark. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jordan will team with Chad Stahelski (John Wick franchise) to bring Rainbow Six to life on screen.

Jordan first portrayed the John Clark character in Without Remorse which went straight to streaming after Paramount sold it to Amazon in April 2021 during the pandemic. There are no definitive details on whether Rainbow Six will also head to streaming, however, sources say that Paramount is looking to give the latest Tom Clancy adaptation a theatrical release. Without Remorse was loosely based on the novel of the same name, written by Tom Clancy and Rainbow Six has more recognition as a franchise due to the best-selling video game series of the same name. Jordan pursued the role of the former Navy SEAL and CIA operative officer after years of the film rights being in development hell with Keanu Reeves and Tom Hardy originally being attached to the role as Clark. However, despite mixed reception for the last film, Jordan aims to keep the franchise alive with some help from the mastermind behind John Wick.

Stahelski began his career as a stuntman alongside John Wick's co-director David Leitch and since has shepherded one of the most recognizable original franchises in recent memory. The fourth installment, John Wick: Chapter 4 releases in theaters on March 24, 2023, and will add Donnie Yen and Bill Skarsgard to the series. Stahelski is also attached to direct the Highlander remake starring Henry Cavill and the upcoming PlayStation adaptation, Ghost of Tsushima which is in the casting phase.

Additionally, though Jordan's biggest upcoming role will be facing off against Jonathan Majors in Creed III, he's also set to lead Methuselah, an action/adventure film for Danny Boyle. He's also set to lead the untitled I Am Legend sequel along with Will Smith.
