Netflix's 'We Have a Ghost' Showcases David Harbour as a Mute Spirit Haunting and Stirring Up Laughs with Anthony Mackie's Family in First Trailer

Netflix has a number of new films headed to the streamer in 2023, one of which drops at the end of February is the adventure comedy, We Have a Ghost which just released its first trailer for all to view!

We Have a Ghost is based on the short story titled Ernest that was published by Vice in 2017 about a family that moves into a new home discovers that there's a ghost living in their attic named Ernest (played by David Harbour) who is haunting them. However, the family comes to realize that Ernest is mute and more of a friendly ghost (like Casper) and spreading him all over social media before the CIA gets involved. The film is written and directed by Christopher Landon (Freaky, Happy Death Day) who aims to flex his dramatic muscles a bit more with this surprisingly emotional story, however, it still seems to have that offbeat charm that has made his past films such underrated hits.

We Have a Ghost stars Harbour, Anthony Mackie, Jennifer Coolidge, Tig Notaro, Jahi Di'Allo Winston, Erica Ash, Isabella Russo, Niles Fitch, Steve Coulter and Faith Ford. The film will hit Netflix on February 24.

Though I didn't have much anticipation for this film based on the premise, after seeing the trailer, I am on board! Let us know in the comments what are your thoughts. Check out the trailer below!
