Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life gets its first trailer

            The first trailer for the reunion event series of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life has finally arrived. This long-awaited continuation has been festering in people’s brains ever since it was announced and the drama was a fan-favorite as it ran on The WB and The CW for seven seasons. The long-time showrunner, Amy Sherman-Palladino was pushed out by the network prior to its final season and but she is back to helm this special event series that will consist of four 90-minute episodes that take place in the four seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.

            The series picks up in real-time, nine years after the events of the original series finale. It deals with issues like Lorelai’s relationship with Like, Rory’s journalism career hitting the skids and Emily’s world being turned upside down when her husband, Richard, passes away. The trailer gives a full look at these things and more and plenty of people will be excited to see how the series REALLY concludes on Thanksgiving.

            Watch the trailer below for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. The series stars Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Milo Ventimiglia, Jared Padalecki, Keiko Agena, Scott Patterson, Liza Weil and Melissa McCarthy. All four installments will be released on Netflix on November 25th.
