Danai Gurira cast in 'Avengers: Infinity War'

            We’re under a year away from the biggest comic book movie of all-time, Avengers: Infinity War and yet, we’re still getting casting announcements for even more characters joining the fray. According to Deadline, Danai Gurira will appear in her second Marvel feature and star in the next installment of the Avengers franchise.

            Gurira is expected to portray Okoye, the female warrior who watches the royal family of Wakanda in the upcoming Black Panther. This is yet another casting announcement that isn’t too surprising but the Russo brothers continue to add more talent to this humungous project that is due out on May 4^th, 2018.

            Gurira can be seen as one of the leads on the incredibly popular AMC drama, The Walking Dead as Michonne. She also plays Tupac Shakur’s mom, Afeni Shakur in All Eyez on Me which is in theaters now.
