It’s always nice when you head to the theater to see a movie that you think could be a good little popcorn movie but then is one of the most pleasant surprises of the year. That’s what happened to me back in 2014 with Paddington. Now, the studio has released a trailer for the upcoming sequel.

Paddington 2 brings back everyone’s favorite bear, voiced by Ben Whishaw and shows him settled into his new life with the Brown family. He sees a nice pop-up book in a shop that he wants to purchase for his Aunt Lucy’s 100th birthday, so he picks up odd jobs to save up his money and hilarity ensues. Unfortunately for Paddington, the book is stolen and he goes on a quest to find the thief and have the book in his possession. This trailer is all I need to see as the sequel looks to have as much humor and heart as the first. Paul King, the director of the original is also back and more star power has been implemented to make this one of my most-anticipated of 2018 already!

Check out the trailer below for Paddington 2! The movie stars Ben Whishaw, Hugh Grant, Brendan Gleeson, Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi and Imelda Staunton. Paddington 2 opens in UK theaters on November 10th and in the U.S. on January 12, 2018!
