One of the fastest rising actresses in Hollywood is joining another high-profile project as THR reports that Sofia Boutella will join Michael B. Jordan and Michael Shannon in the HBO movie, Fahrenheit 451. The movie will be directed by Ramin Bahrani (99 Homes, At Any Price) and will be the second feature adaptation of Ray Bradbury’s novel of the same name.

Fahrenheit 451 is set in a futuristic America in which books are outlawed and those that are discovered by citizens are burned by “firemen”. Boutella will play Clarisse, an informant caught between the competing interests of Jordan’s character Montag and Shannon’s character, Beatty. The original feature film was released in 1966 and helmed by Francois Truffaut starring Oskar Werner, Julie Christie and Cyril Cusack.

Boutella has been highly coveted after her breakout role in Kingsman: The Secret Service before starring in Star Trek Beyond. She’ll also play Ahmanet (The Mummy) alongside Tom Cruise, Annabelle Wallis and Russell Crowe in The Mummy which premieres this Friday, launching Universal’s monster-driven Dark Universe. She’ll also be seen later this summer in Atomic Blonde starring Charlize Theron and James McAvoy.
