First Trailer for '65' Reveals a Sci-Fi Survival Story of Adam Driver vs. Dinosaurs

by Darian Scalamoni
A Quiet Place was an example of creating a concept and making it a horror tentpole franchise. Due to its natural appeal and originality, the film series is thriving with a third installment and spinoff films planned. Now, the co-creators of A Quiet Place, Bryan Woods and Scott Beck are writing and directing their own feature, 65 starring Adam Driver (Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens, Marriage Story) and the first trailer was released this morning.

65 follows Driver as an astronaut who finds himself on a mysterious new planet after a crash landing following a collision with an asteroid. Upon the crash, he discovers that he finds another human who survived, a little girl (Ariana Greenblatt). Further into his investigation of the unknown landscape, he realizes that there are creatures lurking before discovering that the entities in question are dinosaurs. Woods and Beck could only hope this can also spawn a franchise and be the next Jurassic Park but with Driver in tow, it could be possible with a bankable star that is known for his villainous role of Kylo Ren in Star Wars.

Driver had a big year in 2021 starring in Annette, The Last Duel and House of Gucci. This year he's been more under the radar but his upcoming latest collaboration with Noah Baumbach in the film, White Noise is garnering awards consideration having already earned Driver a Golden Globe nomination. The actor has turned into a muse of sorts for Baumbach having previously collaborated with him on Marriage Story, The Meyerowitz Stories, While We're Young and Frances Ha. In addition to 65, Driver will play Enzo Ferrari in the biopic, Ferrari directed by Ridley Scott in 2023.

Are you guys excited to see the sci-fi thriller, 65? The film releases in theaters on March 10, 2023. Check out the trailer below!
