Jurassic
World was a phenomenal success last year making over $1.6 billion at the
box office, now the director and executive producer behind that film will
reunite again, per The
Wrap. Colin Trevorrow and Steven Spielberg will produce a new family action
movie titled Powerhouse set to be directed by indie director Emily Carmichael.
Not much else is known at this time
in terms of plot but Trevorrow helped Carmichael develop the film when she came
to visit him on set of his new movie, The
Book of Henry, due out later this year.
Carmichael is a relative unknown
when it comes to filmmaking but she wrote the best-selling book Ophelia Speaks, while also creating the
animated web series The Adventures of
Ledo and Ix.
