In an
interesting turn of events, it seems that Michael Keaton is once again in talks
and even final negotiations to join the jointly-produced movie by Marvel and
Sony, Spider-Man: Homecoming after
previously turning down a role in the film. It was originally rumored that
Keaton would be playing the villain Vulture within the movie and it’s safe to
assume he will play the same role. According to another source, it seems that
Sony went after Woody Harrelson for the role after Keaton turned it down the
first time but it was to no avail.
Keaton
will be seen next in The Founder,
where he plays Ray Kroc who is the founder of the multi-billion dollar fast
food restaurant, McDonald’s. You can see the trailer for that film right here.
Spider-Man: Homecoming already has Tom
Holland in the title role, while also starring Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark
along with Zendaya and Tony Revolori in unknown roles. The movie will be
released on July 7th, 2017.
