A Quiet Place: Day One is adding a bunch of new cast members to walk amongst the apocalyptic environment created by John Krasinski in the spinoff film. Above the Line is reporting that Alex Wolff (Hereditary, Pig) will reunite with Michael Sarnoski to star in the horror film which is currently shooting.

Sarnoski will write and direct A Quiet Place: Day One which will expand the universe of A Quiet Place without the presence of Krasinski and his wife and co-star Emily Blunt. Wolff is joined opposite Lupita Nyong'o and Stranger Things breakout Joseph Quinn for Day One, which is based on an original idea from Krasinski. The latter will return to write and direct A Quiet Place III but the third film within a planned trilogy wouldn't arrive until at least 2025 as Krasinski is currently in post-production for his family film, IF

Wolff is best known for his lead role in Ari Aster's modern horror classic Hereditary and worked previously with Sarnoski on the drama Pig alongside Nicolas Cage. Wolff will next be seen in Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer in July and also recently wrapped the indie, The Line with John Malkovich, Halle Bailey and Angus Cloud.
