First Teaser for 'Succession' Season 4 Reveals a March Release Date and the Battle Lines Being Drawn within the Roy Family

I've been patiently waiting for HBO's Succession to return to my television screen, and I am elated to see that via the first teaser for the fourth season of the Emmy-winning drama, it's returning sooner than expected.

If you've been living under a rock for the last 5 years, Succession is a fantastic show that can be described as many different things and fit multiple genres. A dark comedy, an epic familial saga within the world of finance and business, as well as a satirical look at the true nature of power in our society. It has been one of most well-received and highest-viewed series on HBO and on Sunday, March 26th, the show will return.

SPOILERS AHEAD if you have not viewed previous seasons, but Season 3 ended following another massive dispute between the dysfunctional and controversial Roy family, in which siblings Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Siobhan (Sarah Snook) and Roman (Kieran Culkin) team together in a bid to stop their father Logan (Brian Cox) from selling Waystar-Royco to tech mogul Lukas Mattson (Alexander Skarsgard). Though the trio makes an effort to thwart the sale, Logan becomes aware of the plan of his children, getting their mother to sign off on the deal which nets him a massive payout and leaves Kendall, Siobhan and Roman with nothing. Making matters worse and amping up the family drama, Shiv's husband Tom (Matthew McFadyen) helps Logan in the deal pitting the married couple against each other and solidifying himself a "spot at the table."

The show is truly a revelation, and I couldn't recommend it enough. Check out the teaser trailer below for the fourth season of Succession! The series returns to HBO at 9 PM EST on Sunday, March 26 and will be available to stream on HBO Max after the premiere.
