First trailer for 'The Lego Ninjago Movie' showcases the most recent Lego spinoff

            The Lego Movie wasn’t only one of the best animated movies in recent memory, it also made tons of money which is now leading to Lego spinoff movies. The Lego Batman Movie will be released in theaters everywhere tomorrow but in addition to that, we’ve been greeted with a trailer for the next Lego spinoff film, The Lego Ninjago Movie!

            The Lego Ninjago Movie follows Lloyd, a Green Ninja who teams up with other nanjas to defeat Garmadon or as he’s known throughout Ninjago as “the worst guy ever.” Not only that, but Garmadon turns out to be none other than Lloyd’s father. The trailer hit all of the checkmarks that both The Lego Movie and The Lego Batman Movie have hit with silly humor and tremendous voice work, especially from Dave Franco who provides the voice of the main character, Lloyd. I’m excited to see this film just as I am to see The Lego Batman Movie.

            Check out the trailer below for The Lego Ninjago Movie! The film features the voices of Franco, Justin Theroux, Fred Armisen, Abbi Jacobson, Olivia Munn, Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Pena and Jackie Chan. The movie opens everywhere on September 22^nd.
