I’m not a huge fan of raunchy comedies because of their need to push the envelope while not being all that funny. The newest red-band trailer for The Little Hours is a perfect example of a movie that doesn’t entice or intrigue me at all as it’s all in your face. Maybe your taste is a little different, give the trailer a try below.

The Little Hours is based on the collection of novellas, The Decameron by Giovanni Boccaccio and stars Aubrey Plaza, Alison Brie and Kate Micucci as foul-mouthed nuns who also engage in tons of naughty behavior. The movie has an unbelievable comedic ensemble but even at Sundance, it didn’t generate much buzz if any at all. It seems to be a film built on shock factor and it’s not working, at least for me.

Check out the red-band trailer below for The Little Hours! The movie stars Plaza, Brie, Micucci, Dave Franco, Nick Offerman, John C. Reilly, Molly Shannon, Fred Armisen and Jemima Kirke. What’d you guys think of the trailer? Was it too raunchy for you? Sound off in the comments below and let us know!
