With the fifth installment in the Transformers franchise, it seems that Michael Bay (Transformers, The Rock) wanted to do something a little different with a medieval backstory. Unfortunately, it appears that the film series will be following the same suit it has since its inception back in 2007. We have a new trailer for the film though so you can form your own opinion on how Transformers: The Last Knight looks.

The movie brings back Mark Wahlberg, who took over as the lead in the series after Shia LaBeouf departed the series after Transformers: Dark of the Moon and also brings in some new characters as well as bringing back older characters from earlier movies. The trailer is just a huge smorgasbord of explosions, corny dialogue and no substance. If you’re a fan of the series, you’re probably excited for the upcoming film, but I for one and completely done with Bay and his inflated sci-fi bore fests that star the autobots.

Check out the new trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight below! The film stars Wahlberg, Anthony Hopkins, Laura Haddock, Stanley Tucci, Jerrod Carmichael, John Goodman, John Turturro, Josh Duhamel and Jean Dujardin. The movie opens everywhere on June 23rd.
