It
was only a few days ago that we received word of the last film in the Wolverine
trilogy being titled Logan. Now, we
have news on who Boyd Holbrook will be playing in the movie as well. We also
have the answer of exactly who Wolverine will be facing off against as Holbrook
has been cast as the villain known as Donald Pierce.
The
image below gives us our first look at Holbrook’s character to which he
captioned, simply, “Pierce”. The actor who is best known for his role on
Netflix series, Narcos will play the
mutant-hating genocidal maniac who infiltrated the Hellfire Club from X-Men comics with a sole intention of
murdering all the members of the squad. He’s also a cyborg and can resist all
damage unless his head is detached from his body, so this is a very formidable
foe for Logan in the upcoming movie.
Take
a look at the photo below which shows us Holbrook in a Mad Max-esque first image and let us know what you think about his
role in the film. Are you happy with the choice of Donald Pierce as the
villain? Let us know in the comments. Logan
will be released in theaters on March 3rd, 2017 and stars Hugh
Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Stephen Merchant
and Richard E. Grant.
