First look at Mera showcases Amber Heard as Aquaman's wife in 'Justice League'

            Justice League has been highly anticipated since the first trailer was released over the summer at Comic-Con. Though the main cast has been assembled for quite a while, many have wanted to see who will join the supporting cast and in what roles. Well a few months ago, we learned that Amber Heard was being cast as Aquaman’s wife, Mera and luckily today, we got our first look at Heard in character.

            In the comic books, Mera served as the Queen of Atlantis and husband of Aquaman while carrying the ability to form “hard water” objects. Many believe that Mera’s role in Justice League will help give fans their first look at the underwater world of Aquaman for the first time on screen. It’s crazy to think how early this image was released but it looks great.

            Justice League will be released in theaters on November 17^th, 2017. In addition to Heard, the film will also star Ben Affleck, Jason Momoa, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, J.K. Simmons, Willem Dafoe and Amy Adams. Check out the first image of Mera below!
