Shia LaBeouf portrays John McEnroe in first image for 'Borg/McEnroe'

               It was only a few months ago when Shia LaBeouf was cast as legendary tennis player, John McEnroe in what many described as a perfect casting. If you don’t know who McEnroe is, he was a superstar tennis player in the 70s and 80s but was synonymous for his hot headed behavior. This works perfectly for LaBeouf who shocked the world with his interesting “Just Do It!” video.

            The film though titled simply Borg/McEnroe chronicles the 14 times that the rivals met on the tennis court. It was always an interesting watch as McEnroe’s outbursts contrasted incredibly well with the calm and collected opponent of Bjorn Borg.

            Shia LaBeouf is set to play McEnroe as Sverrir Gudnason will portray Borg. Check out the first image from the film below.
