First trailer for the long-awaited Stephen King adaptation, 'The Dark Tower' reveals the battle between The Gunslinger and The Man in Black

            It’s been quite a long time that people have been awaiting a trailer for the highly-anticipated adaptation of Stephen King’s book series, The Dark Tower. Idris Elba stars as the Gunslinger who battles the Man in Black, played by Matthew McConaughey for the safety of a young boy.

            The trailer does a great job of explaining the plot of a book series that is known for its lengthy story and reveals that in the movie version, the focus is from the perspective of the young boy, Jake Chambers experiencing visions from another world that is not his own. He enters this world and that’s where he meets the Gunslinger as he helps him clash against the Man in Black. I was quite impressed with the trailer and am looking forward to this summer blockbuster as I’m also a big fan of both Elba and McConaughey.

            Check out the trailer for The Dark Tower below! The movie stars Idris Elba, Matthew McConaughey, Tom Taylor and Katheryn Winnick. The Dark Tower opens everywhere on August 4^th.
