Rosario Dawson in talks for role in 'New Mutants'

            It seems that Rosario Dawson is getting very comfortable within the superhero universes in Hollywood. She’s starred as Claire Temple in all of the Marvel Netflix series and now is in talks to join the Fox universe as Tracking Board reports that Dawson might join New Mutants.

            The movie that recently cast Maisie Williams and Anya Taylor-Joy will focus on teenage mutants similar to the original X-Men movie back in 2000, but will focus on a different gang of superheroes. Dawson would play Dr. Cecilia Reyes, a mutant mentor to the group. In the comics, Reyes has the ability to create an invisible bio-filed around herself and is reluctant to join the X-Men team.

            Dawson will be seen later this summer in the Marvel series, The Defenders reprising her role as Claire Temple and also voiced Batgirl in this year’s The Lego Batman Movie. She also stars in Krystal directed by William H. Macy.
