First trailer for Netflix's 'The Defenders' brings together your favorite heroes from Hell's Kitchen

            It’s hard to believe that two years ago, the Marvel Netflix series started with Daredevil and now, here we are in 2017 and on the heels of the superhero team-up series, The Defenders. The heroes of Hell’s Kitchen will bond together to defend New York City against the Hand and a variety of other villains in the first trailer.

            The Defenders comprise of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, who all were introduced in their own standalone series will battle against Academy-Award nominated actress, Sigourney Weaver. It seems she’ll be part of a bigger scheme that also includes the Hand and Elektra, who will return since her appearance in Season 2 of Daredevil. I’ve been worried about this show coming together with the negative reception from Iron Fist (still haven’t watched) and with the back half of Luke Cage being so disappointing, I was worried about the team dynamic. Jessica Jones does steal the trailer though and it seems that them coming together is actually a very exciting prospect.

The Defenders premieres on Netflix on August 18^th.
