First trailer for 'The Mountain Between Us' reveals the survival movie starring Idris Elba and Kate Winslet

            Two of the best actors in the world are working together for the first time in a very ambitious project. The film, The Mountain Between Us that is based on the novel of the same name by Charles Martin has been in development for years with names like Michael Fassbender, Rosamund Pike and Charlie Hunnam attached. The adaptation has finally come together with Idris Elba and Kate Winslet starring and we have the trailer for the movie for you below!

            The Mountain Between Us follows an in-demand surgeon (Elba) and a photojournalist (Winslet) who charter a plane together as strangers to get where they need to be respectively when they plane crashes and leaves them in the freezing wilderness together. The trailer doesn’t have many standout scenes or anything but the material has been coveted for a very long time and with talent like this attached, I have to believe there is something more there.

The film stars Idris Elba, Kate Winslet, Beau Bridges and Dermot Mulroney and is directed by Hany Abu-Assad (Omar) as well as scripted by Chris Weitz (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, About a Boy) and J. Mills Goodloe (The Age of Adeline, The Best of Me). The film hits theaters on October 20^th.
