New red-band trailer for 'Baywatch' has Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron in lifeguard pursuit

            The Summer movie season is officially underway and it wouldn’t be like Hollywood to not have a big-budget remake in the works to put on screens. Luckily, we have the Baywatch movie coming starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron that finally has a red band, R-rated trailer!

            The movie will follow Johnson’s character, Mitch Buchannon butting heads with a new recruit, Matt Brody as they uncover a criminal and his plot that could affect the Bay going forward. The more I see from this raunchy remake from Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses, Identity Thief) the more excited I get. It’s great to know that all the jokes hit in the red band trailer and Dwayne Johnson continues his hot streak of comedy chops this time teaming with Efron. There are some really great comedy bits in the latest preview with one of my favorites still being Efron’s explanation of being in “lifeguard pursuit” to a police officer played by The Get Down’s, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

            Check out the red-band trailer below for Baywatch! The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Priyanka Chopra, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, John Bass and Hannibal Buress. Baywatch hits theaters everywhere on May 24^th.
