Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield to Lead Romance Film 'We Live in Time'

Two recent Oscar nominated actors who presented together at this past weekend's 95th annual ceremony will join together for a new project. According to an exclusive from Deadline, Florence Pugh (Little Women, Don't Worry, Darling) will team with Andrew Garfield (Hacksaw Ridge, tick, tick...BOOM!) for We Live in Time

We Live in Time is described as a deeply moving, immersive love story with comedic elements. Though plot details are being held under lock and key for the time being, we can confirm that John Crowley (Brooklyn, Boy A) will direct from a script by Nick Payne (The Last Letter from Your Lover).

Though it is an exciting team-up bringing Garfield and Pugh together, audiences may have to wait as Pugh is one of the busiest actresses in Hollywood right now. She already has had a very involved last few years in front of the camera, first joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Yelena Belova, Natasha Romanoff's sister in Black Widow. She then reprised her role as Belova in Hawkeye before the calendar turned to 2022 where she starred in Olivia Wilde's Don't Worry, Darling. She since has followed that up with dramatic turns in The Wonder and A Good Person with two major films hitting later this year in Oppenheimer and Dune: Part Two.

Garfield will re-team with John Crowley after starring in his breakout film Boy A back in 2007. Since then, Garfield has amassed two Oscar nominations for Hacksaw Ridge and tick, tick...BOOM! Garfield also has starred in The Eyes of Tammy Faye and FX series, Under the Banner of Heaven in recent years but really turned heads when he returned for the multiversal superhero flick Spider-Man: No Way Home along his spider brethren, Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland. Garfield has been rumored to play Richard Branson in limited series Hot Air directed by Bullet Train director David Leitch.
