Last year saw Hulu's release of a series titled Candy, which revolved around the true-life crime story about Candy Montgomery and the murder of her neighbor Betty Gore after having an affair with her husband. Now, it's HBO Max's turn to tell that same story in a limited series by the name of Love & Death which just released its full-length trailer.

Love & Death stars Elizabeth Olsen (WandaVision, Wind River) as Candy Montgomery this time around, who is married to her husband Pat (Patrick Fugit), a church-going couple who live a relatively quiet and tame lifestyle until everything turns upside down when Candy decides to have an affair with fellow churchgoer Allen Ford (Jesse Plemons) and then soon after, murdering his wife, Betty Gore (Lily Rabe).

The trailer is filled with tension and looks to be yet another hit for HBO and HBO Max. Love & Death begins streaming on April 27 with a three-episode release. New episodes will release evert week until the finale is available on May 25. The series also stars Krysten Ritter, Tom Pelphrey, Olivia Grace Applegate, Keir Gilchrist, Elizabeth Marvel, Brian d'Arcy James and Bruce McGill. Check out the trailer below for Love & Death.
