First images for 'Bright' shows Will Smith and Joel Edgerton policing a fantasy world

            David Ayer’s upcoming big budget Netflix fantasy crime film, Bright keeps fascinating me more and more. With two fantastic leads in Will Smith and Joel Edgerton (as an orc, mind you) and a credible and capable director like Ayer (End of Watch, Suicide Squad) it should be a fun film for all. Entertainment Weekly revealed all new shots from the film that also came from the pen of Max Landis (Chronicle, American Ultra).

            Bright follows Smith and Edgerton’s characters in the gritty, underworld of Los Angeles that isn’t the same LA many of us know. Crime-ridden by mystical creatures like orcs, fairies, elves along with humans are hunted down by the odd pairing of human and orc to stop the offenses within their city. Ayer said it’s a mixture of Training Day and Lord of the Rings which makes an interesting mash up for sure. I’m definitely interested for sure but I’m still holding my breath for a full-length trailer for the $80 million blockbuster housed by the streaming giant.
