Netflix’s next high-profile project in their newest venture, original movies, looks to have potential in being one of the best under-the-radar films of 2017. The film I’m referring to is, War Machine and the latest trailer has just been released for the newest film from David Michod (Animal Kingdom, The Rover).

War Machine is a satirical war film that’s based on the book, The Operators: The Wild & Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan that stars Brad Pitt as U.S. general Glenn McMahon (based on Stanley McChrystal) whose confidence in winning the war in the Middle East was lowered by the expose of a journalist. I absolutely loved the teaser for this when it was released and I thoroughly enjoyed this new preview. With quite possibly the most underrated cast of the year with the always fantastic Pitt leading, there’s a reason the movie is in my most anticipated of the year.

Check out the trailer for War Machine below. The movie stars Pitt, Tilda Swinton, Ben Kingsley, Anthony Michael Hall, Topher Grace, Keith Stanfield, Emory Cohen, John Magaro, RJ Cyler and Scoot McNairy. War Machine is available to stream on Netflix on May 26th.
