Miles Teller cast in Nicolas Winding Refn's Amazon series, 'Too Old to Die Young'

            One of the fastest rising stars in Hollywood is Miles Teller who has portrayed all different types of roles showing his diversity including a boxer, jazz drummer, superhero and charming lover boy. Now, he’s headed to television. According to THR, Teller has been cast in Nicolas Winding Refn’s Amazon series, Too Old to Die Young.

            Teller will play a police officer who is grieving over the death of his partner who then links up with the man who killed him. It sounds like a juicy role for Teller and continues his stretch of working with up-and-coming directors that already includes Damien Chazelle, James Ponsoldt and Ben Younger. I’m looking forward to see who else Refn can accumulate for the series.

            Refn joins a string of filmmakers that are shifting their focus to the small screen for a more creative outlet to stretch over a longer period of time. Teller will star in the PTSD drama, Thank You for Your Service later this year as well as be a part of the ensemble for Granite Mountain with Jeff Bridges, Taylor Kitsch and Josh Brolin. Too Old to Die Young begins filming this fall in Los Angeles so expect this to land on Amazon in 2018!
