It was truly a blessing when Sony and Marvel Studios came to an agreement to let Spider-Man appear in some of the MCU films. That deal began with his inclusion in Captain America: Civil War and now we’re getting our third rebooted Spidey solo film but this time it looks and feels much different than the previous efforts. Sony has released the new trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming and we have it here just for you!

Spider-Man: Homecoming will follow Tom Holland as Peter Parker navigating through his normal high school life while trying to keep it under wraps that he’s also a superhero by the name of Spider-Man. That is until a huge new threat emerges in the form of a villainous menace who goes by Vulture. Though I was a huge fan of the first trailer, this one didn’t sell me as much and to be honest, I think it gives too much away. Michael Keaton looks great as Vulture and I’m always excited to see Robert Downey Jr. on screen as Tony Stark but there are tons of plot details within this preview and frankly, I’m disappointed that they showed so much. I’m still very excited for the film though and after one small appearance and two trailers I think it’s easy to say that Tom Holland is a better Spider-Man than both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

Check out the trailer below for Spider-Man: Homecoming! The movie stars Holland, Downey, Keaton, Jacob Batalon, Zendaya, Angourie Rice, Tony Revolori, Bokeem Woodbine, Jon Favreau, Logan Marshall-Green, Marisa Tomei and Donald Glover. Spider-Man: Homecoming opens everywhere on July 7th.
