'1923' Star Brandon Sklenar to Play Atlas Corrigan in Sony's Adaptation of 'It Ends With Us'

One of the biggest novels of the last year has been It Ends With Us from Colleen Hoover. We had reported previously, back in January, that Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni will be starring in the feature film adaptation, and now, we know who is playing Atlas Corrigan.

According to Deadline, Brandon Sklenar, the breakout star of 1923 on Paramount+ has been cast in the role of Atlas. It Ends With Us follows a girl named Lily who has just moved and is ready to begin her life post-college when she falls for a man named Ryle. However, as Lily starts to gain feelings for Ryle, her first-love, Atlas, comes back into her life forcing Lily to choose between the two. Though the novel had regained popularity this past year being on the NY Times Bestseller list for over 90 weeks, Hoover's book was originally optioned for a film adaptation back in 2019 following its 2016 release.

Sklenar's co-star Baldoni will also direct the adaptation with Colleen Hoover and Blake Lively serving as producers for the film. In addition to his role in 1923, Sklenar recently has starred as Burt Reynolds in Paramount+ series, The Offer and appeared in the last season of HBO's Westworld. He'll next star in the film, God Loves the Green Bay Packers.
