Bob Odenkirk to Join the Cast of 'The Bear' for Season 2

When you're in a pinch and need someone in the kitchen, ya better call Saul! That's right, according to a report from Variety, Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul, Nobody) is headed to Chicago for what appears to be a guest role on season 2 of FX's award-winning kitchen dramedy The Bear.

While it may just be a small role, Odenkirk provides major star power to the series which has a terrific ensemble already. If you've never watched the series, The Bear follows Jeremy Allen White (Shameless) as Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto, a top New York City chef who comes home to Chicago to run his brother's family sandwich shop after he commits suicide. It was my absolute favorite show of 2022, and you still have time to catch up and binge the short 10-episode first season before the show returns in June on Hulu.

The Bear also features other blossoming stars such as breakouts Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colon-Zayas, Edwin Lee Gibson, Corey Hendrix, Matty Matheson, Richard Esteras, Jose M. Cervantes and Abby Elliot. The series was created by Christopher Storer and won plenty of awards during the recent run winning SAG Awards, WGA and PGA Awards as well as a Golden Globe win for White.

Odenkirk just wrapped his legendary role as Saul Goodman in the Breaking Bad prequel, Better Call Saul. However, he's already moved onto a dark comedy series on AMC, Lucky Hank
