Jack Harlow makes his Acting Debut in Official Trailer for 'White Men Can't Jump' Remake

by Darian Scalamoni
We're in a period of reboots of beloved franchises appearing almost weekly across film, television and streaming. Add the iconic basketball hustle comedy White Men Can't Jump, which just released its latest trailer.

White Men Can't Jump released in 1992 starring Woody Harrelson, Wesley Snipes and Rosie Perez, meanwhile the latest version of the film releases on Hulu on May 19 and stars Friday Night Lights star Sinqua Walls and rapper Jack Harlow. Though I am personally getting major fatigue from Hollywood's lack of original ideas, the trailer looks pretty funny, and it seems like a tight script with some laugh out loud moments.

If you've never seen the original, White Men Can't Jump follows Angeleno (Harlow) hustling some basketball players out of cash, as many are assuming that he can't play the sport skillfully due to the way he looks. However, Angeleno teams with Kamal (Walls) to scheme out a bunch of teams in a one-day basketball tournament that would net them $500,000.

Check out the first trailer below for White Men Can't Jump! The film begins streaming on Hulu on May 19 and stars Harlow, Walls, Teyana Taylor, Vince Staples, Laura Harrier and the late, great actor Lance Reddick.
