Jacob
Tremblay has disappeared out of the spotlight since his awards campaign with Room. He’s since starred in a couple
B-level horror movies and Colin Trevorrow’s disappointing film, The Book of Henry but his next big-time
project, Wonder is hitting theaters later
this year. We have yet another trailer for the adaptation of the best-selling novel
from R.J. Palacio.
Wonder follows Auggie, a young boy who
has multiple facial deformities from surgeries and heads to public school for
the first time. Though his family has reservations about Auggie being in school
at first, he makes new friends who help him truly understand what it means to
be himself. This trailer is much better than the first in my opinion, truly
encompassing what the novel is all about. Since the book is one of my
favorites, I’m highly anticipating this movie. Stephen Chbosky has writing
credits on some terrific movies like The
Perks of Being a Wallflower (which was also his directorial debut) and the
live-action Beauty and the Beast so
for this being his second feature film he’s directing, it’s an interesting and
exciting prospect.

out the new trailer below for Wonder!
The movie stars Jacob Tremblay, Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson, Daveed Diggs, Mandy
Patinkin and Sonia Braga. Wonder hits
theaters on November 17th.
