There
are very few recognizable voices in Hollywood today that’re synonymous with the
actor. One being Morgan Freeman, another being Sam Elliot and one that I
usually associate is Brad Garrett. He’s using his voice for an iconic role as Tracking
Board reports that Garrett will voice Eeyore in Disney’s Christopher Robin.
Christopher Robin is a live-action movie
that will star Ewan McGregor as the titular character, grown up and lacking his
imaginative gene that shined so much as a young boy. Winnie the Pooh and
friends re-enter Robin’s life at just the right time to remind him what’s
important in life and for his family. Marc Forster (Finding Neverland, Quantum of Solace) will direct the family
adventure film. Garrett has the perfect low tone that fits the character of Eeyore
and with McGregor, Hayley Atwell and Jim Cummings voicing Winnie the Pooh, it
seems like this movie is coming together quickly.
Garrett
is best known for playing Robert Barone on the long-running sitcom, Everybody Loves Raymond for which he won
3 Emmy Awards. He’s also done voice work as recently as 2016 in both Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the
Shadows and Finding Dory. Christopher
Robin is currently in pre-production and will begin shooting very soon!
