First images of Cable in 'Deadpool 2' reveal Josh Brolin as the disheveled Marvel villain

            Leading off Monday with a pretty awesome piece of news here as Ryan Reynolds is using his Twittersphere for yet another exciting image for his upcoming return in Deadpool 2. This time around, it’s the first look images as Josh Brolin playing the villain, Cable in the film, which you can see below.

            These images are exactly what I was hoping for when it came to this character and I’m ecstatic at the look of Brolin as this character. Brolin got the role after an extensive search for the part which included names like Michael Shannon, David Harbour, Stephen Lang, Pierce Brosnan and Brad Pitt, just to name a few. In the comic books, Cable is also known as Nathan Summers, the biological son of Cyclops and Jean Grey’s clone, Madelyne Pryor. He has telepathic powers, telekinesis and is one of the biggest badasses in all of Marvel comics. Brolin signed a four picture deal with Fox so this definitely won’t be the last we’ll see of him as Cable, he could potentially help lead the X-Force movie in development, as well.

            Check out the images below of Brolin as Cable! Deadpool 2 is currently filming and will hit theaters on June 1^st, 2018. The movie stars Brolin, Ryan Reynolds, Zazie Beets, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Jack Kesy, Brianna Hildebrand, Julian Dennison, Stefan Kapicic and Leslie Uggams and is directed by David Leitch (John Wick, Atomic Blonde).
