Jennifer Lopez Will Do Anything to Protect her Daughter in First Trailer for Netflix's 'The Mother'

    Jennifer Lopez (Hustlers, Out of Sight) is turning a new leaf into action with her latest upcoming film for Netflix, The Mother. The film that drops this Mother's Day weekend on the streaming platform just released its first trailer!

    The Mother follows Lopez a deadly assassin who comes out of hiding to protect her daughter, who she gave up years earlier in a chase against some very bad men, led by Gael Garcia Bernal (Mozart in the Jungle, Werewolf by Night). Lopez as a hitwoman is an intriguing prospect in and of itself, so pair that up with a great ensemble that also includes Omari Hardwick, Paul Raci and Joseph Fiennes, as well as Niki Caro (Whale Rider, Mulan) directing, and Netflix could have a potential hit on their hands.
