Let's Take a Trip to Barbieland in the First Trailer for 'Barbie,' Greta Gerwig's Follow-Up to 'Little Women' Starring Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling + More!

    It was back in December when we posted the first images and the teaser for Barbie on our site. Now, we've arrived at April, just a few months before the film is released and we have a longer trailer for your viewing pleasure below!

    Barbie stars Margot Robbie as the platinum blonde iconic doll brought to life in a pixie-dust filled world that has created a ton of interest. Part of that is due to the role of Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird, Little Women) directing and co-writing the film (alongside her longtime partner Noah Baumbach). Alongside a terrific ensemble that also features names like Ryan Gosling, Will Ferrell, Issa Rae, Simu Liu, Kate McKinnon and more, the movie is sure to be a hit box-office wise. 

    Based on the trailer, you can see that Gerwig is aiming for a unique take on the story with a bright and vivid color palette for all to engross themselves within when seeing the film on a big screen. With the cleverness of Gerwig's creative prowess and ability to draw in a great team on-screen and off-screen, we here at Cinema Wave are very excited to see this movie come to life.
