Kevin Bacon, Lily Collins, Elizabeth Debicki & More Join the Cast of Ti West's Horror Trilogy Capper 'MaXXXine' Starring Mia Goth

Ti West broke out as a director in 2022 with his releases of X and prequel follow-up Pearl which both starred Mia Goth. Now, his trilogy of films revolving around celebrity, attention and murder will be capped off with the upcoming release of MaXXXine, which just got a major boost with its additions to its cast.

Deadline is reporting that Kevin Bacon (City on a Hill), Lily Collins (Emily in Paris), Elizabeth Debicki (The Crown), Michelle Monaghan (Gone Baby Gone), Bobby Cannavale (The Watcher), Halsey (Americana), Giancarlo Esposito (The Mandalorian) and Moses Sumney (The Idol) are all joining the cast for the project currently filming in Los Angeles. X was a '70s set horror flick that saw Goth pull double duty as Maxine, who sees her pornography-film crew friends being violently murdered on the Texas farm they're shooting on, while also playing one of the elderly attackers, Pearl. The next film, Pearl, saw Goth play a younger version of the character in 1918, acting as an origin for the disturbing villain.

However, MaXXXine will aim to take a different approach to Ti West's franchise, as the titular character moves to LA in the 1980s to seek out stardom and fame as an actress. She'll battle the psychological damage caused by the violent events of X as the sole survivor of the attacks with A24 returning to produce.

Debicki will return as her role of the Sovereign High Priestess Ayesha for James Gunn's franchise capper Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 which hits theaters in May and will star in the series, Farnsworth House with Ralph Fiennes. Bacon is a SAG Award and Golden Globe-winning actor who most recently led Showtime crime series City on a Hill. He'll next star in the highly anticipated Netflix film, Leave the World Behind with Mahershala Ali and Julia Roberts.

Esposito is one of the busiest actors in the world right now and is a 5-time Emmy nominee for roles in Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and The Mandalorian. He also currently stars in MGM+ series Godfather of Harlem and The Boys for Amazon Prime Video. He has projects upcoming with Francis Ford Coppola, The Russo brothers and Guy Ritchie. Halsey is a Grammy-nominated singer who is making her feature on-screen acting debut for Tony Tost's film, Americana with Sydney Sweeney and Paul Walter Hauser.

Collins is an Emmy-nominee for her work in Netflix hit series, Emily in Paris. She'll next star in the series The Accomplice for Amazon Prime Video. Cannavale is a two-time Emmy winner and recently starred alongside Naomi Watts and Jennifer Coolidge for Ryan Murphy's The Watcher. He'll next star with Robert De Niro and his wife, Rose Byrne in the film, Inappropriate Behavior which releases in October. Monaghan recently starred as twins in the Netflix series, Echoes and will follow that up for a series for AppleTV+ Bad Monkey which comes from the creators of Ted Lasso
