Guns are ablaze in first Red-Band Trailer for 'Free Fire'

            Ben Wheatley has quickly become one of the best, cult filmmakers in the history of British cinema but now that he’s come over to the states, we have a red-band trailer to his latest effort titled, Free Fire.

            The film has a fairly simple premise in which a gun deal goes terribly wrong and a wild shootout ensues. If that doesn’t get you excited about the high octane action/comedy, the cast includes recent Oscar winner Brie Larson, Armie Hammer and Cillian Murphy. In addition to that, the film is executively produced by legendary filmmaker, Martin Scorsese.

            The film looks to be ultra-violent and extremely funny. There is tons of gunfire throughout and it definitely helps that the film is being produced by A24 who have produced other great, recent indie films such as Ex Machina, The Lobster, The End of the Tour and the film for which Larson won the Academy Award, Room.

            Free Fire is set to be released at some point next year and in addition to Larson, Hammer and Murphy, it also stars Sharlto Copley and Jack Reynor. Check out the first red-band trailer below!
