Short Teaser for Arnold Schwarzenegger-Led Netflix Series "FUBAR' Sets May Release Date

It's official, Arnold is coming to streaming. That's right the legendary bodybuilder-turned-actor known as Arnold Schwarzenegger is getting his own action-comedy series for Netflix titled FUBAR and we have a short teaser announcing the release date with some footage for you.

FUBAR has a very fun premise and stars Schwarzenegger and Top Gun Maverick's Monica Barbaro as a father-daughter duo that discover they're both CIA operatives when they are put together as partners. We get a glimpse of Schwarzenegger's character shooting a gun, driving a motorcycle and in a high-speed car chase before we get our official release date of May 25. FUBAR boasts a heck of a creative team with creator and showrunner Nick Santora (Reacher) leading the way. Additionally, Schwarzenegger and Barbaro are joined by Jay Baruchel, Diego Luna and stand-up comic Fortune Feimster for the show, with the latter seen "sack-tapping" Arnold for a hilarious moment at the back end of the teaser.

Schwarzenegger sure seems pleased with the series, comparing it to one of his iconic films of his past, "Everywhere I go, people ask me when I'm going to do another big action comedy like True Lies. Well, here it is, FUBAR will kick your ass and make you laugh-and not just for two hours. You get a whole season. It's been a joy to work with Nick, Skydance and Netflix to give my fans exactly what they've been waiting for."

The theme of the series comes from a realization that father and daughter do not know each other at all and will play out in a hilarious but action-packed romp of family dynamics being tested. I was a bit skeptical when the series was first announced over two years ago but even after this short teaser, I'm all in.

Check out the teaser for FUBAR below! The series begins streaming on Netflix on May 25.
