New trailer for 'The Circle' begs the question if technology is worth your privacy

            It wasn’t long ago that we received the first teaser trailer for James Ponsoldt’s (The End of the Tour, The Spectacular Now) next film, The Circle. Now, the first full-length trailer has been released for the technology-driven drama that stars Emma Watson.

            The Circle follows Watson as a young woman who gets her dream job at a social media empire run by a charismatic man who encourages his employees to live their lives with complete clarity. This new trailer gives a better look at the plot of the movie and asks if the convenience of having everything at your fingertips is worth your privacy. It seems to be trending towards the whole notion that “technology is bad for you” and not in a stylized way like the Netflix series Black Mirror. Having said that, I still like the cast and director involved so hopefully the final product proves me wrong as the movie made my top 50 most anticipated for 2017.

            Check out the new trailer for The Circle below! The movie stars Watson, Tom Hanks, John Boyega, Karen Gillan, Ellar Coltrane, Patton Oswalt and Bill Paxton. The Circle opens everywhere on April 28^th.
