The legendary mind behind arguably the greatest television series of all-time, The Sopranos, is headed to FX. That's right, according to a report from Deadline, David Chase and Hannah Fidell (A Teacher, Pam & Tommy) will work together to develop a new show for the cable channel that has a hub exclusive to the Hulu streaming service.

Though the details of the project are unknown at the time, it is set to be based on a previously unproduced script from Chase with a contemporary pass from Fidell. Fidell will also direct the pilot for the series that has people speculating it may be A Ribbon of Dreams, which Chase previously wrote and developed at HBO.

A Ribbon of Dreams originated from an idea of Chase's that was set to be a six-part miniseries telling the story of the beginnings of Hollywood centering around a mechanical engineer and a cowboy with a violent past who form an unlikely partnership in the film industry. They would go on to become pioneers and driving forces for an emerging time in motion pictures. Chase had previously said that it was all lined up and ready to go, until "there was a problem with money" leaving Chase to part ways with HBO.

The 7-time Emmy-winning Chase most recently returned to his Sopranos roots by writing and producing the prequel film The Many Saints of Newark. Fidell has worked alongside FX and Hulu for years now. First, developing her feature film titled A Teacher for FX to star Kate Mara and Nick Robinson before directing multiple episodes of Pam & Tommy for Hulu.
